Austrian engineering company
SPASAR is an Austrian engineering company focused on flight software, embedded systems and safety-critical software architecture.
The company
SPASAR was founded by an embedded software engineer with more than a decade of experience developing safety-critical systems across automotive and aerospace applications.
Experience includes building reusable embedded software architectures, establishing software development processes from the ground up, leading avionics and flight-software activities, mentoring engineers and working across software, electronics, FPGA and systems engineering.
The company is structured to provide senior engineering support today while developing the technical foundations and partnerships needed for reusable aerospace software technology in the future.
Engineering philosophy
Complex products rarely fail because individual functions cannot be implemented. The larger challenge is building an architecture and engineering environment that remains understandable as products, requirements and teams grow.
Define stable boundaries and clear ownership.
Make quality and verification part of everyday development.
Enable engineers to make good technical decisions independently.
Experience context
Methods and constraints differ by domain, but disciplined architecture, explicit interfaces and verifiable behavior remain common requirements.

Working approach
SPASAR works at the point where system constraints become software decisions: architecture, timing, interfaces, resources, implementation and verification.
Engagements are kept explicit about scope, assumptions and evidence. Public material describes generic capability and experience, never customer-specific implementations or proprietary architectures.
